Results of the Hospices de Nuits Wine Auction

The 60th Hospices de Nuits Wine Auction took place last Sunday, held in Château du Clos de Vougeot. This exceptional edition established a historical record with 1.923 million of euros raised. 49 000€ will be donated to the Pasteur Institute.
A success explained by the remarkable quality of the 2020 vintage, and by the press and international buyer’s growing interest for this event.
We are pleased to have been able to participate to this special sale, during which we purchased 13 pieces, positioning us as the second buyer of the auction.
Among the cuvees acquired, the Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Didiers, monopoly of the domain, of which we are the first buyer this year, and also one of the most legendary cuvee of the domain, the Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Saint-Georges, Sires de Vergy’s cuvee. This one particularly matters to us, as the Delaunay family is implanted at l’Etang-Vergy since the 1950’s.
